This maternity session was a combination of on location and in studio photos. This couple were troopers bracing the cold temperatures for the brief amount of time we were outside. In the end it was all worth it as they celebrate the coming of their baby boy.
There is no age limit when it comes to mother/daughter sessions. Though they are often done when the daughter is still a young child, there is something unique about capturing that relationship when the daughter is older. She has experienced life more and can better understand the decisions and sacrifices her mother made. And Mom can look with true pride at the young woman her daughter has grown to be. I enjoyed photographing the connection between Lexi and her mom. Enjoy!
I love doing cake smash sessions. They are super fun to plan and design and I love seeing the child's reaction to the cake. This was a very special session because I've been able to photograph Avery from newborn and 6 months until now. I love capturing the baby's growth and being apart of the journey with the parent(s). Enjoy!
